Congratulations to the November and December “Going the Extra Mile” Award Winner Judy Godoy at Kennedy Jr High and Kim Fisher-Dickson at Skyline High School.
Kim Fisher-Dickson, Skyline High
“Kim has been amazing at her job here at Skyline for the last two years. She is so knowledgeable as the counseling center secretary. She is always there to pick up the extra slack for me when I get in a bind. She has been willing to stuff envelopes, send notes, and just pick up anything that I was having a hard time finishing because we were doing class presentations. She is positive and can be counted on to always be here. She will send out a cute little cartoon every so often that makes us all
smile. I have enjoyed every minute of working with her and appreciate her willingness to help all of those people who work with her. She truly makes it a joy to work at Skyline!”
Judy Godoy, Kennedy Jr High
“Judy Godoy is hard-working, caring, and the HEART of Kennedy Jr. High. She has been there for nearly 17 years and the community, students and faculty love her. They reference her as the Sunshine of the school. She has been alone in the counseling center for nearly a year and gets the job done. She does it all around the school —registering all the students, attendance issues, handling all the request from the counselors, students,
faculty and administration. She cares for all the students and knows them by name and most of their parents names as well. Kennedy Jr High would not know what to do without her. Her commitment to her job and the community is 2nd to none. This award is long overdue for her. “
