“Audryn has been a special education teacher for 11 years. She is, hands down, the most dedicated special educator I know. She has worked tirelessly to be the best teacher for her students. That has led her to earn a master’s degree in special education, to become a board-certified math teacher, and join the Utah Teacher’s Fellows where she advocates on capital hill and co-hosts a podcast aimed at giving teachers, families, and students a voice. Audryn harnesses her passion to help her students at Cottonwood High increase their self-determination and self-advocacy through student-led IEP meetings. Audryn truly loves her job and her students and deserves to be recognized for her local and nationwide efforts to improve education.”
