There are several Summer Music Programs for students in the Granite School District. Summer Music Programs allow students to continue their musical development through rehearsal and performances with their peers. Students can learn to play a musical instrument and become better musicians with the instruments they already play. Students can also explore different genres of music and musical literature and get a head start on the upcoming school year.
Granite Junior Youth Symphony
June 5th – 30th, 2023. Classes are Monday through Friday from 8:00 to 9:30 a.m. at Cottonwood High School 5715 South 1300 East, Murray, UT 84121.
- Continue your musical development through rehearsal & performance with your peers.
- Spend time with friends and make new friends with similar interests.
- $60.00 tuition fee — includes school bus transport-(Transportation to and from Cottonwood High School from selected junior high schools).
- End of year Celebration Field trip (admission fee applies).

Introductory Band & Orchestra Camp

- Students entering Junior High — get a head start on the upcoming school year.
- Qualified teachers will be available for students wishing to play any band or orchestra instrument.
- $60.00 tuition fee — includes school bus transportation to and from Cottonwood High School from selected junior high schools.
