We were able to award this week’s nomination on the field of a Unified Sports event.

Fun day to celebrate a remarkable teacher.

Principal Oaks said, “Ms. Ellis has turned the Unified Sport program at Hunter High School into an awesome example of inclusiveness that other schools are trying to emulate. She has created a culture of inclusion and fun that has had far reaching effects throughout our hallways. Already this year, she has hosted a district wide Unified Soccer tournament, as well as a network wide Track event that became so popular, that the Kearns and Cyprus networks joined as well! She has worked tirelessly to make these events happen and further promote the Unified Sport program throughout the Granite School District. Thank you Ashley Ellis!”
