What a special visit we had today, at Mr. Williams’ kindergarten class. With sweet students and proud faculty, we were grateful to recognize Mr. Williams for the difference he is making every day at Upland Terrace Elementary.

Principal Reed said, “Teaching kindergarten is always exciting – and he has the added responsibility of not only teaching two separate classes but managing special education requirements for each of his many individual students. Ryan does both exceptionally well. More than that – he manages everything with a positive attitude and sense of humor…even when things are stressful.”

Mr. Williams was also recognized as a “supportive teammate, happy to lend a hand or expertise and ideas where he can.” He also serves as a teacher representative for the school’s PTA.

“Thank you, Ryan, for your hard work, good humor, grace under pressure, support for your colleagues and community, and always doing what is best for students. We appreciate you and are so thankful you are a part of the Upland Terrace faculty!”
