Reconfiguration Open Houses

Do you want to learn more about what K-5/6-8 grade reconfiguration would look like in the Granger, Cyprus, and Hunter Jr. networks? The district recently hosted three panel discussions with parents, staff, and administrators from other networks that have undergone the same grade reconfiguration process. Population Analysis Study Open House Meetings

The board of education has recently approved a boundary adjustment and school closure study in the area shown on the map above. The study will have three focuses:

• Elementary boundary adjustments and/or closures.
• Dual Language Immersion (DLI) programs, which could impact feeder schools.
• Anticipation of a new family homeless shelter in the area.

To be clear, no recommendations have been made as this process has just begun.

Please join us for upcoming meetings on the process regarding how and what considerations are made with respect to boundary adjustments and school closures. These meetings will also address the timeline for decision-making.

Your participation is highly encouraged and will be live streamed to assist those who are unable to attend in person. Spanish translation is available upon request.

Fee Schedule

The 2024-2025 School Fees will be recommended for approval by the Board of Education at two board meetings, March 12, 2024, and March 19, 2024. There will be opportunity for public comment at both meetings. Patrons can review information related to school fees on our website.

If you would like to sign up for public comment, please fill out the Comment Sign Up Form or call 385-646-4529. You must sign up before noon the day of the respective meeting.

Olympus Network Mental Health Parent Night

The Olympus High School Network will be hosting a Mental Health Parent Night on March 26th, 2024, at Evergreen Jr. High (3401 S 2000 E).

Learn from experts about mental health topics that are affecting your students. There will also be presentations on bullying, substance abuse, and internet safety. Each topic will be covered twice in back-to-back sessions between 6:30 – 7:30 PM.

Free and confidential mental health screenings for depression and anxiety will be available for students ages 12-18 at the Parent Night. Please schedule a 20-minute appointment by clicking here or calling 385-646-4645 if you have concerns about your child’s mental health wellbeing. As part of the screening process, results and resources will be discussed with student and parent. Parent and student must attend. Interpreters will be available upon request. Screenings are available by appointment only from 5:00 – 8:00 PM.
