*Skyline High Girls Golf teams were recognized as the 5A State Champions*

Allan Erichsen (GTI) : Utah TSA Advisor of the Year,
Gracie Williams (GTI) : Utah Association of Agricultural Educators (UAAE) Rookie Teacher of the Year,
Kammie Jones (Taylorsville High) : FBLA Adviser of the Year

*Angelina Nguyen from Hunter High was recognized for her Honorable Mention at the International Genius Olympiad that was held in Rochester, NY last month.*

*Kathy Affleck & Anita Ardi were recognized for their awards from the College Board on the success of their students in their AP classes at Skyline High.*

*‘Honors in Education’ Gala Honorees recognized (in alphabetical order): Tori DiDonato, Shannon Garner, Christine Nilsson, Sydnee Moser Price.*

Administrative Appointments

Beth Nielsen was appointed as the Assistant Principal at Fremont and Upland Terrace Elementary schools.

*Dr. Mitch Nerdin was appointed as Chief of Staff. Nerdin most recently served as Principal at Skyline High School.*

The Board voted to adopt the 2024/2025 Budget as published on the District webpage. The Board voted to set the property tax rate to be 0.006125. There were three public comments.
