The Granite School District Board of Education has approved the addition of three more Teacher Planning Days to the current school calendar. These planning days will be January 28, March 11 and May 6. Students will not attend school on these dates.

“As a result of the ever-changing situation of the pandemic, we are engaged in providing educational services in ways that we’ve never before experienced,” said superintendent Rich Nye. “Teachers need more time to plan, collaborate and assess learning so we can ensure we are meeting the needs of students and families.”

This action is made possible through the use of legislative exemption days.
