The Salt Lake Community College (SLCC) Certificate of Completion in General Education is official documentation from the college that a student has completed the general education requirements of an Associate or Bachelor degree. Once awarded, it will appear on students’ official transcripts and is considered part of their permanent record. Students must have a minimum GPA of 2.0 to be awarded the General Education Certificate of Completion.
High School students who take Advanced Placement (AP) or Concurrent Enrollment (CE) courses can receive college credit to apply toward this Certificate of Completion. The certificate requires the completion of 34-37 credits from various general education courses, many of which are taught in the local high schools.
