General Granite Online Course Information 2024-2025
For School Year 2024-2025 Granite Online will have a rolling enrollment, but will have a hard end date. Students may request course enrollment with their counselor throughout the year. Students may request up to 2 courses at a time and may choose to finish them faster/slower depending on their own needs. The only due date is the end of term–students must develop their own schedule to make sure all coursework is submitted by May 5. There are no extensions to the end of the term.
- These are independent courses. Students will need to determine their own pacing needs to complete the course by May 5.
- Students may enroll in additional courses once they complete previous courses.
- Online Course Request form. Take to school counselor and make sure the course will meet student needs for graduation.
- Each course is .25 credits and is $30 (eligible for fee waiver for qualified students)
School Year Course Catalog - Students will need a device and internet for courses; check with your boundary school if you need to check out a device.

| Grade Posting | -Courses completed August-April will have transcript grades posted within 3 weeks of completion. -Courses completed May 1-5, 2025 will have grades posted by May 23. |
| Office 365 | Taking a Business Office class? It is a Microsoft Office Certification course–it won’t work with Chrome or Macs for the full course. You will need to download Microsoft Office 365 and use a PC computer. |
Driver Education Online: Spring 2025 Semester
All requests for Spring Driver Ed with Granite Online will be put into a random selection drawing (lottery). All applications submitted within the application window have an equal chance of being selected during the lottery. An application to the lottery does not guarantee a placement in the online driver ed section. Those selected in the lottery must make payment by the deadline or they will forfeit their place in the program. If there are still spaces available after the payment due date, they will be filled based on a wait list created from those not selected in the initial lottery.

| Mon 1/13/25 | Class starts for Spring Driver Ed Online. Students should be practicing driving with parent/guardian AND doing online assignments. |
| Mon 3/3/25 | AAA Online module complete, submitted to Canvas, passed with B- or better. |
| Mon 3/10/25 | All 3rd Quarter Canvas assignments completed, submitted to Canvas, passed with B- or better. |
| Mon 3/17/25 | 4th Quarter Starts for those that passed Quarter 3 with a B- or better. Schedule driving with instructor. |
| Sat 3/15/25 AND 3/22/25 | RANGE driving. Students must complete two drives on the range. These are the only 2 dates available for online students. Students MAY do both drives on the same day if needed. March 15 and/or March 22 |
| Tue 5/27/25 | All driving complete, all 4th quarter Canvas assignments complete, submitted to Canvas, passed with a B- or better. |
| Fri 5/30/25 | Students who have successfully completed all requirements and passed with a B- or better will have their info sent to the Driver License Division and can make testing appointment with DLD to take final driving exam. |
