The Gale Virtual Reference Collection is now available to all K-12 students and teachers in the state of Utah as part of Utah’s Pioneer Online Library.
This large collection of databases and electronic reference titles can be searched through a “Power Search” interface, or the resources can be accessed individually. A library of online tutorials is also available to provide help and training resources in using the databases.

Covering the core curriculum areas, including history, literature, science, social studies, and more, DC provides a premium selection of reference, primary sources, creative works, and multimedia, including hours of video and audio clips.
Gale Virtual Reference Library
A database of encyclopedias and specialized reference sources for multidisciplinary research.
Global Issues in Context
International viewpoints on a broad spectrum of global issues, topics, and current events. Featured are hundreds of continuously updated issues and country portals that bring together a variety of specially selected, highly relevant sources for analysis of social, political, military, economic, environmental, health, and cultural issues.
InfoTrac Junior Edition
A periodical database designed for students in junior high and middle school with access to a variety of magazines, newspapers and reference books for information on current events, the arts, science, popular culture, health, people, government, history, sports and more.
InfoTrac Newsstand
A full-text newspaper database which allows users to search articles instantly by title, headline, date, newspaper section or other assigned fields.
InfoTrac Student Edition
Periodical database designed for high-school students with access to a variety of indexed and full-text magazines, newspapers, podcasts, and reference books for information on current events, the arts, science, popular culture, health, people, government, history, sports and more.
