Parents, teachers, and librarians can also find tools to teach with books and engage young readers. It has reading recommendations for both fiction and nonfiction, for kids in grades K-8. Are these novels lists aligned with the Granite School District Approved Novels List 4-12?

No, this has no connection to district novel lists, although it likely provides some information and resources about all of the novels on the district novel lists.
It is primarily a reader advisory resource to help teachers/parents/librarians find great books to suggest to students, and also for students to use themselves to find books that match their interests. For virtually any title it provides a collection of professional reviews from journals such as Booklist and School Library Journal, suggested “read-alikes,” suggested interest grade levels, descriptive terms for tone, genre, illustration style, etc. It does include many suggested reading lists based on genre, tone, award winners, interest and subject matter, but it would not contain Granite’s Approved Novel lists. It would be a great source for teachers to find more resources about books on the approved novels lists, or for teachers and others on the novels committee to reference when researching books being considered for inclusion on the list.
