This summer we say goodbye to many wonderful members of our team, but also welcome new faces into the Educational Technology department.
Leaving Us
First, we say goodbye to our director, Patrick Flanagan, who has taken a new administrative position in the Human Resources department.
We are also losing a large cohort of secretaries and technology specialists, who move on to new adventures in retirement: Kathy Delli, JoLene Ellertson, Kathleen Milburn, Kelly Nelson, Linda Postman, Dennis Roberts, Terry Robinson, and Larry Wilde.
Shannon Ririe leaves us for a position at UEN, and Larry Gee is leaving us for another teaching assignment.
We thank them for all they have done to help students and teachers in Granite!
Joining Us
We welcome our new director, Chris Larsen. Chris comes to us having served as assistant principal at Moss Elementary and Plymouth Elementary.
Joining our administrative secretarial staff we have Trinda Burnett (from Armstrong Academy) and Colleen Hughes (from Farsworth Elementary).
This year we bring five new elementary STSs (School Technology Specialists) onto our team: Tricia Fenton (formerly of Canyons School District), Alisha Kerby (from Truman Elementary), Ashley Moore (from Armstrong Academy), Tiffany Pontius (from Truman Elementary), and Keith Reidford (from Calvin Smith Elementary).
We also welcome Marcia Ingram, the new LMETS (Library Media Educational Technology Specialist) at Eisenhower Jr. High, and Mary Anne Wiebe-Strong, who switched from our elementary team to our secondary team by taking the position as LMETS at Churchill Jr. High.
We are excited to begin working with all of you in the coming school year!
You can find more information about our staff, including their school assignments, email addresses, and twitter handles, on our staff directory pages: Educational Technology Office Staff, Elementary School Technology Specialists, and Secondary Library Media Educational Technology Specialists.
