Elementary students using Chromebooks in Granite School District now have easy access to many excellent web sites and digital tools curated on the GSD Ed Tech K-2 Links and GSD Ed Tech 3-6 Links web sites.
Elementary students can click on the home link (the house icon) in the upper left of their Chrome browser while on Chromebooks and it will bring up either the GSD Ed Tech K-2 Links web site or the GSD Ed Tech 3-6 Links web site, depending on their grade level. These two web sites will be periodically updated.
Additionally, all Granite students can click on the granitesd.org Bookmarks link below the Home button to quickly access additional web sites and district learning resources. The contents of the bookmarks folder may vary by grade level and school. Elementary teachers have links to the two Ed Tech Links websites provided in the bookmarks folder when on a Chromebook or logged into the Chrome browser with their @granitesd.org accounts.
The quick links include web sites for all content areas, as well as general digital tools such as the safe image search web sites Pics4Learning and Photos For Class, which are ideal for young students to use when searching for images online.
