The Google Slides Module is now open on our Chromebook Basics and G Suite Online Training site for Granite teachers. The module walks you through the basics of Google Slides, but also includes some additional helpful tips and tricks.
To complete the module, read through the presentation and then take the quiz. You can retake the quiz as often as needed to achieve the 80% or higher passing score. Granite teachers who complete the module receive 2 licensure points.
The Google Slides module joins the Chromebook Basics and Google Docs modules, which are already published and ready for immediate teacher participation. More optional modules on Google Apps will be published throughout the school year.
These training resources are geared specifically toward teachers in Granite School District, but students, parents, or community members who are interested can also click through the modules to learn more about how Chromebooks and Google Apps work in the Granite classroom environment. Since Google tools are cloud-based and can be accessed from virtually any PC or device at school or home, these modules can still be helpful for teachers and students who do not have frequent access to Chromebooks.
