Last week Magna Elementary hosted a site visit for the Leadership in Blended and Digital Learning cohort of elementary school principals and technology specialists. During this site visit principals were able to step into several classrooms to see first-hand how teachers are transforming their classrooms using blended and digital learning strategies. In addition to taking what they saw back to their own schools, some participants shared snapshots with us via social media posts that we will share below.

I loved how students responded to questions on padlet as they read a battle of the books title. Another pair of students timed each other for fluency. @MagnaPrincipal #gsdedtech #gsdDTL @graniteschools @EdTechGSD pic.twitter.com/DolKCTL3dg

Loved visiting @magnaelem today to see how they are using Blended Learning in their classrooms. The visit was made even sweeter as I got to watch one of my former dance students highlight her amazing students and classroom. Great job Miss Harvey! @EdTechGSD #gsddtl #gsdlbdl pic.twitter.com/usCWxyZ2eu

Mrs. Kira Hurst, 3rd Grade Classroom
Mrs. Hurst’s class was working on coding, and she had “catch up” “must do” and “may do” instructions. Every student was on task and engaged all morning! @MagnaPrincipal #gsdedtech #gsdDTL @graniteschools @EdTechGSD pic.twitter.com/6KJx2nRu8t

The beauty of blended learning is it can be unplugged too! Mrs. Dietz 4th grade class were all working on division – some were in small groups on the floor, while others worked on chromebooks #gsdedtech #gsdDTL @graniteschools @EdTechGSD pic.twitter.com/mNQHtuaQkp
