This week, school technology specialists, library media educational technology specialists, teachers, and other #gsdedtech and #gsdlibraries staff will be presenting and receiving professional development at the Utah Coalition for Educational Technology (UCET) and Utah Educational Library Media Association (UELMA) state conferences.

A Google education summit is coming to Granite School District this June.

We invite interested educators to join us for the EdTechTeam Utah Summit Featuring Google for Education, hosted at the Granite Education Center. This two-day event will provide educators with intensive learning on deploying, integrating, and using Google Apps for Education to promote student learning.

UCET 2016

The Utah Coalition for Educational Technology is holding their annual conference on March 17 & 18, 2016 at the University of Utah. This conference provides many hands-on breakout sessions on ways to utilize technology in teaching and learning, and is perfect for educators of every grade level or subject area who are interested in technology integration. Their theme for the March conference is “Tech Madness,” with Thurl Bailey and Ginger Lewman as featured keynote speakers. UELMA 2016

The Utah Educational Library Media Association will hold their next conference on March 18, 2016 at the Larry H. Miller Megaplex at Jordan Commons. This conference provides a full day of professional development focused on the needs of library media teachers and paraprofessionals. Utah Summit Featuring Google for Education

The EdTechTeam, a partner of Google Apps for Education, is bringing their Google Summit to Utah in June 2016.
