Granite School District provides one of the best compensation packages in the state of Utah. This is especially true for early career educators. Our teacher salary schedule starts on step 6. Any teacher that joins the districts with five (5) or less years of experience, starts at over $59,741 per year! That’s not all. A new teacher does not stay on step 6. After your first successful year of teaching you start moving up steps like any other teacher. This means that you will hit the top of the salary schedule earlier in your career, meaning greater lifetime earnings!
