Granite School District participates in the Effective Teachers in High Poverty Schools (ETIHPS) Bonus Program. Under this program, special bonuses are available for teachers who:
1. Teach students in grades 4-8 and have a Median Growth Percentile of 70 or higher, or teach students in grades K-3 and have 85 percent or more of their students scoring typical or better on Acadience Pathways of Progress (POP), and
2. Teach at a highly impoverished school (with 70 percent or more of students living at or below the poverty line).
If you are a teacher who is eligible to receive this special bonus, you are invited to apply for a teaching position at one of the schools identified below so you can earn this bonus at the end of the next school year.

Academy Park Elementary, Farnsworth Elementary, Gourley Elementary, Granger Elementary, Hillsdale Elementary, Jackling Elementary, Lincoln Elementary, Magna Elementary, Monroe Elementary, Moss Elementary, Pioneer Elementary, Plymouth Elementary, Redwood Elementary, Rolling Meadows Elementary, South Kearns Elementary, Stansbury Elementary, Taylorsville Elementary, Olene Walker Elementary, West Kearns Elementary, Wilson Elementary, Granite Park Jr High, Kearns Jr High, and West Lake Jr High
A Timeline of How this Program Works
Year 1 – Teacher earns a 70 MGP on RISE (grades 4-8) or have 85 percent or more of their students scoring typical or better on Acadience Pathways of Progress (grades K-3).
Year 2 – Teacher applies for a position at an eligible school (if they are not currently working at an eligible school).
Year 3 – Teacher teaches at an eligible school. It is during this academic school year when the bonus is received (for scores earned in Year 1).
