Opportunity is abundant; students have access to renowned academic and leadership programs such as LIA and AVID and a full range of athletics, clubs, student government, and storied performing and visual arts programs. Quotes from students and parents: Parent - My daughter was able to participate on the Varsity Cheer Team all 4 years at Cottonwood and that has really been such an amazing experience for her and for us. We have loved seeing her come out of her shell and go from an awkward and some what shy Freshman to a very outgoing Senior. She has made so many relationships with Coaches, Teachers and Administration over the years that has really helped her feel like she is important, loved and cared for at Cottonwood. Parent - I love the teachers at Cottonwood; they always go the extra mile to help your child succeed. There are even some that make such a difference by caring about your child. Parent - I think the only way you wouldn't know what is going on with your child's grades at Cottonwood is if you never look at your email. The school is really great at sending you out weekly scoreboard updates on your child's current grades in each class as well as getting notifications from Focus when a grade is updated. It is really easy to stay on top of your students progress. Parent - Cottonwood has done a great job at encouraging my kids to take AP classes. My kids have done well in the Math/Physics AP classes. I like that they push them to understand math better.
